Nepal Cultural Society of British Columbia (NCSBC) is a not-for-profit community organization of people of Nepali origin & friends of Nepal in BC, Canada. NCSBC was established in 1998 with the primary purpose of promoting unique Nepali culture and historical identity while helping fellow community members build a prosperous and meaningful future. Currently, NCSBC supports and advocates for almost 2000 Nepalese in different regions in BC. |

Founded in 1962 as the Tibetan Refugee Aid Society, is a Vancouver-based charity that supports the health and education of children and youth in Nepal, northern India, and Tibet. TRAS follows a grassroots approach, working with partner organizations in the region who identify local needs and run the projects themselves, rather than sending Canadians overseas to do the work. |
